1. Brochure and website descriptions and prices

All descriptions and illustrations in the brochure and website represent the general idea of the gift or Experience and shall not form part of the contract. All information, prices and claims are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of printing. We reserve the right to amend the information or prices relating to the products in the brochure or website without notice.

2. Supply of Experience or Gift

We plan arrangements for your Experience many months in advance. Very occasionally changes may be made and we reserve the right to do so. This may involve having to reschedule the timing and/or location of an Experience, possibly at short notice, owing to availability, booking numbers, safety, technical problems or other factors beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for any costs incurred in any of these circumstances. We will try to provide a nearby/other alternative wherever possible. In the unlikely event that a suitable alternative cannot be found, a full refund will be available. Similarly, we reserve the right to withdraw supply of a gift without notice due to unavailability or discontinuance of a product line.

3. Course Content

We reserve the right to make changes to the course content without notification. All details of our experiences are as accurate as possible but we reserve the right to substitute equivalent alternatives in all cases without notice and without liability. Where a lesser alternative is offered or substituted, you are entitled to receive a maximum compensation equal to the net cost of the element of the Experience missed. Session lengths are given as an indication only and normally you will be taking turns with other members of the general public. We are not responsible for any increase or decrease in session lengths and cannot be held liable for any costs incurred in these circumstances. In the unlikely instance of any course element not being completed, the maximum compensation available is limited to the net cost of the element not completed.

4. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. We are unable to reserve payment or make provisional bookings unless credit terms have been agreed. We reserve the right to cancel any order where full payment has not been received within credit terms or where payment has defaulted. Any vouchers issued in these circumstances become void without further notice and we cannot be held liable for any costs incurred.

5. Health, Age, Physical and Size restrictions

All Experiences in our brochure have certain age, legal, health, physical and size restrictions. For the driving Experiences, participants shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated - please check with our booking office or Customer Service agent prior to booking if you are in any doubt about eligibility. For driving Experiences, participants are required to hold a full, valid UK or European driving licence and must be able to drive manual transmissions. We are not responsible and the Experience is not refundable where these restrictions have been breached.

6. Availability and Booking a Date

All experiences are offered subject to availability and weather conditions on the day. It may be necessary to book a day on certain Experiences well in advance due to demand. We are unable to make provisional reservations. You are advised not to make travel, hotel or other arrangements until your booking has been confirmed in writing. The issue of a 'TBA' voucher does not constitute the confirmation of a particular date.

7. Voucher Packs

Voucher packs are sent by first class post. You can normally expect delivery within 5 working days. We cannot hold vouchers for delivery on a certain date. We are not liable for any loss suffered as a result of the non-arrival of the Voucher Pack or any missing component.

8. Weather

We reserve the right to cancel an Experience due to adverse weather conditions that would affect your safety. We cannot be held liable for any costs incurred under these circumstances.

9. Safety

Many of the Experiences featured involve some personal risk. We will require you to sign a disclaimer before we will allow you to take part. On all courses our professional instructors assess a participant's ability to take part. We reserve the right to refuse any person from participating in any Experience should we deem it necessary. Whilst we consider this to be very unlikely to be enforced, this rule is for safety purposes only. We kindly ask you to respect that our professional instructors' opinions are final and in your best interests. In this circumstance, the maximum compensation available is limited against the net cost of the element not completed.

10. Insurance

The Experiences involve some personal risk. Some insurance policies specifically exclude certain Experiences. Policy details on request

11. Complaints

In the unlikely event of a complaint arising. The hospitality staff will endeavor to put things right immediately. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, please inform us of any complaint you may have relating to any of our gifts or Experiences by writing to our Customer Services Department. We are always looking to improve upon the service we offer. If you have any thoughts of improvements, please write to our Customer Services Department.

12. Reserved Course Dates

Courses can be purchased with or without a reserved course date. Course dates can be provisionally booked by telephone but must be confirmed with a payment within 5 working days or the reserve date will be cancelled.

13. Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are issued for all courses. Open Gift Vouchers are available from a minimum of £25. All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of occasion, after which time they can be revalidated at a cost of £25.00 for a further 12 months only (plus an increase in price if applicable). The gift vouchers must be extended before the expiry date has passed. Please allow 4 - 5 working days for your gift voucher to be delivered.

14. Refunds and Cancellation

Driftskool are happy to make refunds on un-booked experiences bought direct from Driftskool within 7 days of purchase, minus a £25 administration charge. After 7 days no refund will be available. An alternative named driver can be submitted, but a £25 admin charge will be applicable. Driftskool does not accept re-bookings if your event has been booked (unless covered under separate cancellation insurance) Refunds are always made to the person who purchased the experience, and if originally purchased by credit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. If the card has expired you will need to request a refund in writing, quoting details of a new credit card.

16. Driftskool Indemnity

(This you will be asked to sign on arrival) In consideration of being permitted to utilize the driving course organized by Driftskool I agree to keep indemnified Driftskool, their officials, servants, representatives or agents, the owners of the land and any other persons using the facility, from and against all actions, claims or damage to the property or myself or my passengers however caused. I also confirm to pay the first £1000 of any damage I cause due to reckless, careless or negligent driving. I confirm that I am not suffering from any illness or disability whether permanent or temporary or otherwise which is likely to affect my control of the vehicles being driven. I confirm I hold a valid UK/International driving license.
